The JMA-UK Annual Family Gathering 2026 is a special occasion bringing the Jaffna Muslim community across the UK together to strengthen bonds, celebrate their heritage, and create memorable moments for families, children, and youth. Since its first gathering in East Ham in 2002, the annual event has become an important milestone for JMA-UK. It provides an opportunity for families and friends to reconnect, preserve community identity, history, culture and values, and inspire younger generations to remain connected to their heritage. This year’s programme includes children’s stage activities, youth performances and achievement awards, sports, games, traditional food, entertainment, and community activities. Parents are encouraged to register their children early, with the registration deadline for stage activities and awards set for 10 September 2026. The gathering also looks towards the future with JMA’s first Cricket Exhibition Match and 7-a-Side Tournament, with a new JMA Cricket Tournament planned for Summer 2027. Come together, celebrate our heritage, strengthen our community, and make the JMA-UK Annual Family Gathering 2026 a memorable day for everyone.
